2025β26 Season
The Mustangs captured the F-Division title, continuing to assert their dominance in divisional play and reaffirming Marlboro as one of the premier wrestling programs in the Shore Conference.
For the first time in over 50 years, Marlboro claimed a division championship β a monumental moment for the program and its community.
Marlboro earned the highest seed in program history heading into state sectionals β then made even more history by winning their first-ever state sectional match.
The team finished 4th at the district championships and sent 5 wrestlers to the NJ Region Championships β the most qualifiers in recent memory.
The team shattered the previous single-season win record of 19 (set in 2020) with an incredible 22-win campaign, the best in program history.
Head Coach Charlie Frankel recorded his 100th team victory this season β a testament to years of dedication, discipline, and championship-level leadership.

Coach Charlie Frankel has been inducted into the 2026 Marlboro Athletic Hall of Fame β the highest honor the school can bestow on a member of the athletic community. Recognized for his decades of leadership, his mentorship of countless student-athletes, and his role in transforming Marlboro wrestling into a program of distinction, Coach Frankel joins a select group of legends whose contributions to Marlboro athletics will never be forgotten.
